Saga is designed with privacy at its core. When you use local AI, your data never leaves your device. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

Local AI Usage

When using local AI models through Ollama, all processing happens on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your conversations or data.

Cloud Integrations

If you choose to use cloud AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic), your requests are sent directly to those providers. Saga logs these requests locally so you can see what was sent, but we do not store this data on our servers.

Account Information

If you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile information for authentication and billing purposes.

Analytics

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve Saga. This includes general usage patterns but not conversation content.

Data Storage

Your conversations, context library, and settings are stored locally on your device. Account data (email, subscription status) is stored securely in our database.

Third-Party Services

Saga integrates with third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

• Stripe (payments)
• OpenAI (if you use GPT integration)
• Anthropic (if you use Claude integration)
• Supabase (authentication)

Your Rights
